Terms of Service

Last updated: November 3, 2026 · Messiah by Sonnev. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Messiah by Sonnev (“Messiah,” “Sonnev,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By messaging Messiah, connecting an account, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. Overview

Messiah is an AI personal assistant you message (including on Telegram and connected apps). It processes your messages, remembers facts you ask it to save, schedules reminders, and interacts with third-party applications you connect, as described in our Privacy Policy. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service and your and our rights and responsibilities.

6. Actions Messiah Takes on Your Behalf

At your request, Messiah can read information from accounts you connect and prepare actions on your behalf, such as sending emails, creating or updating calendar events, posting messages, or modifying records in connected apps.

You are in charge: Before Messiah executes an action that sends, creates, modifies, or deletes data in a connected third-party app, Messiah presents a summary with Approve and Deny buttons. You must review every action carefully before approving it.

You are solely responsible for the instructions you give Messiah and for the actions you approve, including their content, recipients, and consequences. Messiah does not guarantee any particular outcome, and third-party availability or API behavior may vary.

7. AI Outputs and No Professional Advice

Messiah relies on artificial intelligence models, which can be inaccurate, incomplete, hallucinated, or out of date. Do not treat Messiah’s outputs as a guaranteed source of truth, and verify anything important before relying on it.

Messiah is not a lawyer, doctor, financial adviser, accountant, or emergency service, and its responses do not constitute professional advice. For medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other significant decisions, consult a qualified professional, and in an emergency contact your local emergency services.

8. Connected Services

Messiah can connect to third-party services (such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Notion, Slack, GitHub, Linear, and Outlook) at your direction. Your use of those services remains governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

You represent that you have the legal right to connect each account and to authorize Messiah to access and act within it. You can revoke access at any time from that provider’s security settings. We are not responsible for third-party services, their uptime, or their content, and you connect them at your own risk.

9. Service Communications & Messaging

Messiah replies within conversations you initiate, delivers reminders you schedule, and may send essential operational, security, or policy notices in your chat. You can stop reminders or erase your account at any time using /reminders or /delete_me, or by contacting support@sonnev.com.

10. Data Processing & Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that any data you bring into or manage through the Service complies with applicable laws and the rights of others.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Messiah by Sonnev a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content and records of the work Messiah performs on your behalf solely as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the Service for you, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

11. Usage Limits, Plans & Changes to the Service

Messiah enforces daily message limits (such as per-user daily message quotas) to ensure reliability and prevent abuse. We may modify usage limits, introduce free or paid plans, or add, change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service at any time. If we introduce paid plans, applicable fees and billing terms will be presented clearly before any charge is incurred.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service—including the Messiah name, Sonnev branding, logos, software, interfaces, and documentation, and all related intellectual property rights—belongs exclusively to Messiah by Sonnev. You may not use our trademarks, branding, or intellectual property without our prior written permission.

13. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY REGARDING ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS OF REMINDERS, SECURITY, OR PERFORMANCE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MESSIAH BY SONNEV AND ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR USE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Messiah by Sonnev and its founders, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the instructions you give Messiah and the actions you approve, the accounts or data you connect, or your violation of these Terms, any law, or any third-party right.

16. Termination

You may stop using Messiah at any time and erase your stored data immediately with /delete_me. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including if you violate these Terms, if we discontinue the Service, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

17. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

If a dispute arises out of or relates to these Terms or the Service, you agree to first contact us at hello@sonnev.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating any formal proceeding. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claims must be brought in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you via the Service where appropriate. Continuing to use Messiah after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
